"Flimsy build and frustrating support"
I’m disappointed with this. The plastic feels cheap and flimsy, and some of the parts didn’t even line up right when I was putting it together. After a short time using it, it already started rattling. I tried reaching out to support, but it felt like I got stuck in a loop of repeating the same info without anyone actually helping. Not happy with the product or the support experience.

"What did they put in this water?"
I’m annoyed. After using this water for just a week, it started tasting like chemicals, and now my kettle has weird flakes left in it. I don’t know what they’re doing with this stuff, but it definitely doesn’t seem right. I expected clean water, not something that makes me blame the product every time I make tea.

"Too loud for a kitchen"
The water cooler does what it’s supposed to do, so I’ll give it that, but the noise is getting on my nerves. It has this constant hum, and then out of nowhere it makes a loud clicking sound that makes me stop and think, seriously, again?
I figured I’d get used to it, but nope. Since it’s in the kitchen, I can hear it from the living room, especially at night when everything else is quiet. It’s not the worst thing ever, but I’m already tired of listening to it.

I ordered two filters, but one of them arrived in the wrong size. Mistakes happen, but it’s frustrating because now I can’t use what I paid for. I’ve already reached out and I’m hoping this gets escalated and resolved quickly, because I really don’t want to spend more time chasing down a replacement.

"Showed up sooner than I planned for"
I ordered from avalonh2o.com and expected to be waiting a bit, but the shipping was way faster than I thought. Tracking worked fine the whole time, and the package showed up early with no issues. Small win for me because I got it before the weekend and didn’t have to rearrange anything. Happy with the whole experience.

"Works fine, but it’s bigger than I expected"
It does the job well enough, so I can’t really complain too much. That said, I was a little disappointed by how bulky it is in person. It looked more compact online, but once I set it up in my small kitchen, it definitely took over more counter space than I planned for.

"Didn’t hold up very long"
i’m disappointed with this Avalon water cooler. I bought it last year and it already seems like it’s coming apart. The door hinge is loose, the buttons don’t work right anymore, and the drip tray cracked even though we’ve only used it normally and haven’t been moving it around.

For what it cost, I really thought it would last a lot longer. Customer support wasn’t very helpful either and it kind of felt like they just wanted me to buy replacement parts. I don’t see myself ordering from avalonh2o.com again.

It does what it’s supposed to do, so I don’t really have any complaints there. I just kind of felt pressured into buying it, and for the price, I’m still not sure it was totally worth it

"Return went through, just took a bit"
I had to return a filter I ordered, and overall it was fine, just kind of slow. The return process itself worked, but the emails took longer than I expected, and at one point I was wondering if I’d missed something or if it was just sitting in someone’s inbox. I ended up following up, and then eventually got my refund. So yeah, it worked out in the end, just not the quickest experience...

I don’t remember every detail now, but I do remember reaching out with what felt like a simple question and then waiting days to hear back. Once they finally responded, it was fine, but the slow reply really stuck with me.

"Pretty frustrating overall"
I’ll be honest, my experience with avalonh2o.com wasn’t great. Maybe I’m only remembering the annoying parts, but those are the parts that stuck with me. It felt harder than it should’ve been to find clear information, and the whole process just didn’t feel smooth. I was expecting things to be more straightforward, but I ended up more frustrated than anything. I don’t think I’d use them again.

"Warranty help was surprisingly smooth"
I’ve noticed warranty issues can usually turn into a whole back-and-forth, but this one didn’t follow that pattern at all. They handled it quickly, kept it simple, and got the problem fixed fast

I got this mostly because our tap water had that weird aftertaste, and it’s been a nice change. The water taste much cleaner now and is way easier to drink. It’s not perfect every single time, but overall I’m happy with it.

"Water flow is sorta weak"
It works fine, but the water comes out sorta slow. It gets a little annoying when I’m filling up bottles or trying to cook.

"Filter change was "more annoying" than I expected"
Swapping out the filter ended up being more of a hassle than I thought it would be. The pieces were kind of awkward to line up, and the instructions weren’t really much help. I had to mess with it a few times before it finally sealed right. The water tastes fine now, so that part is okay, but the actual filter change was just "frustrating." Definitely not something I’d want to do very often.

"I bought this thinking it would give..."
I bought this thinking it would give me really cold water, but i’m not too impressed. Even after letting it run for hours, the water is only sort of cool, not actually cold like I expected. Maybe it works better for others, but for me it’s been disappointing, and I don’t think I’d buy it again.

"Setup instructions were all over the place"
Tried to set it up. got annoyed quickly. The instructions felt like they were in the wrong order, and a few things didn’t even match what I had in the box. So I’m sitting there, guessing, checking online, going back to the manual, still confused. It should’ve been simple. It really wasn’t. Way more frustrating than it needed to be.
